About

The Department of Interior Design believes in a broad and interdisciplinary attitude for enriching the design activity. The aim of ‘Diploma in Interior Design’ is to promote a critical self-contemplation and to provide requisite skills to put design ideas systematically into practice. The Diploma in Interior Design is a comprehensive program designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of designing functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. The course covers key areas such as design principles, space planning, materials & finishes, color theory, furniture design, lighting, CAD software, and project presentation.

The course trains the student designers to integrate different aspects of SPACE DESIGN and INTERIOR DESIGN into one user centric area.

Through studio-based learning and practical assignments, students gain hands-on experience and build a strong design portfolio. This diploma prepares graduates for careers in residential and commercial interior design, furniture studios, design consultancies, and freelance practice. It is an ideal choice for creative individuals who want to turn their artistic vision into a professional design career.
