Diploma in Administration Services is a three year, post S. S. C., AICTE Approved Diploma program offered at Premlila Vithaldas Polytechnic, SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai.
The Diploma in Administration Services is a three year course, approved by A.I.C.T.E. and accredited by N.B.A.(2007-08), New Delhi. This is a six semester course, inclusive of one semester of Internship training and it emphasizes on proficiency in technical skills for Office Automations like Computer and Internet applications, Telecommunications and Stenography. It includes commerce-based theory subjects and aims at effective personality development to suit the corporate image. The objective of the course is to train Administrative Assistants; Secretaries, Sales and Marketing Executives and Front Office Personnel. Introduced in 1976, as ‘Diploma in Commercial & Secretarial Practices’, the course was redesigned as 'Diploma in Administration Services' , to keep abreast with global changes in business and office administration. For those interested in pursuing continuing education along with their jobs, diploma holders are eligible for direct admission to the Second Year B.Com in S.N.D.T. Women’s University / Mumbai University.

Industry Visit to Raghuvanshi
A Visit to Raghuvanshi Khaman and Farsan Mart, was organized, on 1 March 2024, for the students of Semester 4.
A total of 36 students with 3 Teachers Ms. Asawari Arote, Ms. Madhura Nene and Ms Smriti Tawde visited the production unit. Students were taken to various sections to see the production of Farsan and were also explained the activities of the Admin Department.
Department of Administration Services organized the annual event PANACHE in association with Institute Innovation Council & PVP SNDTWU Centre for Skill Development on 11th March, 2025. It was attended by the students of the department of Administration Services and department of Medical Laboratory Technology.
After the inauguration of PANACHE, the one-day event started with an interactive session on ‘ART OF SPEAKING’, conducted by Shri Anandraj Sen, Voice Artist. The two-hour session was highly engaging where the students learnt about the various virtues of speaking like: importance of genuine practice, humor, preparation, impact of body language, controlling nervousness, possessing attitude of gratitude etc. The importance of having a smile on the face and a smile on the voice was emphasized throughout the session. The students also got an opportunity to practice ‘Hakka Technique’ and ‘Box Breathing’ for combating nervousness.
Post lunch, was a ‘WORKSHOP ON CONFIDENCE BUILDING’ conducted by Blue Ribbon Movement LLP. The two-hour session was highly interactive and participative where the students performed various confidence building activities. Tongue twisters were practiced for effective presentation. Students were given a platform to make individual presentation for confidence building. Team building exercises were practiced for impactful group communication.
The last leg of PANACHE was tree plantation where the students planted saplings of red and yellow dates. Caring for the environment is the need of the hour and the saplings will beautify the surrounding, adding greenery to the environment, apart from contributing to environmental sustainability.
PANACHE, had an overwhelming response from the participants where the department of Administration Services emphasized the concept of presenting confidently in style for the holistic growth and getting the participants job ready.
